Considering your Safety
Your safety is of the upmost importance to us and we have taken the following steps to help keep you safe at our premises.
Close the restaurant and other outlets at 4pm to undertake a deep clean.
Removed some tables in our restaurant, so we provide better ‘social distancing’
Clean handles, surfaces and glass routinely
Positively discourage people with underlying health risks, are over the age of 70 or are pregnant to attend the farm.
Cancel some Crag House Farm events
Cancel all evening bookings.
KEEPING IT CLEAN
Crag House Farm is closely following all UK Government guidelines relating to COVID-19.
We understand that many of our customers may be concerned about eating out. We can only refer to the current NHS guidelines which state - there is currently no evidence that you can catch coronavirus from food. In general, because of poor survivability of coronaviruses on surfaces, there is also likely to be a very low risk of spread from food products or packaging. Further information can be found via the link to the latest NHS advice - https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/common-questions/
We advise our customers, when entering our premises and before eating food to sanitise their hands.
Please be assured that all of our staff always thoroughly wash their hands with soap and water for 20 seconds following the recognised technique before handling food, before putting on gloves (used for directly handling food only) and at other appropriate times. Good hygiene practices are a pre-requisite procedure here at Crag House Farm and our reporting illness policy, quarantine and return to work procedures are in line with the current guidance. We have also increased the frequency of cleaning and disinfecting hand touch points across our premises.
KEEPING YOU INFORMED
We will update you on our website, social media and via email to let you know what happens.
We will continue to follow Government guidelines and should this change, we will let you know as soon as we can.
