About The Event

The CWGC commemorates the 1.7 million men and women of the Commonwealth who died in the world wars and maintains 23,000 sites in over 150 countries to a pristine standard, ensuring the human cost of war is never forgotten.


He will also highlight Yorkshire and Leeds' contributions in the world wars, sharing poignant stories of those who paid the ultimate sacritice and are commemorated by the CWGC.
