About The Event
Leeds Bradford airport is the highest working airport in the UK. Although its location on top ot a hill may not be the best, it has adapted to the climate challenges to play a vital part in the region's economy.
The airport has a fascinating history from the time three 'enthusiasts' got together to fly planes, and came up with the idea of an airfield on Yeador Moor, through to carrying more than four million passengers today.
On arrival you will be served our 3 tiered Afternoon Tea stand filled with tasty treats, including our delicious freshly made fruit scones.
